They even have put on an adaptation of the film Footloose, which is guaranteed to be a fun time. Or maybe you're a history buff, in which case you should take a walk down to the Port Columbus Civil War Naval Center where you'll find all the information you need to know about the Confederate war. It's one of the most informative museums in the United States where you'll have fun while being educated. Those are just a couple of attractions you can visit in addition to movie theatres and amusement parks. Whatever you're looking for, you'll be able to find a venue for your passions.

And if you enjoy eating out after spending countless hours buying and selling automatic strapping machine accessories online as a factory buyer and want to sample the local cuisine, then you're in luck as Columbus is home to a great range of food joints. Logan's Roadhouse will provide you with one of the best chicken and ribs joints in town that will remind you of the type of atmosphere found at the Double Deuce in Patrick Swayze's hit movie Road House. But Columbus is home to all types of restaurants and you can find basically anything you're looking for. There are sushi bars like the Mikata Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar where you can taste some international offerings if you're looking for exotic cuisine. Or if you're up for food that your grandma used to cook, head over to Captain Tom's and enjoy their country buffets, steaks and much more. Walk around and ask some of the locals for their recommendations and you'll be sure that they'll send you somewhere special. Go out and explore on your own and you'll be glad you did.

While you won't be able to attend a game to any of the four professional sports leagues, you can take in a local Columbus Lions indoor football game at the Columbus Civic Center.
